Country Education

VMPF is committed to medical education for rural practitioners and allied health professionals providing a range of topical meetings through the Country Education Program in Victoria.

Our meetings are open to General Practitioners, Specialists, HMO's, Nurses and allied health professionals covering a wide range of topics as requested through needs analysis in each region. Many of our meetings are held in the local hospitals providing convenient access during lunch or dinner.

Our program is supported by the Victorian Department of Human Services and meetings are accredited for CPD/CME points with relevant organisations.

We aim to attract speakers of the highest calibre who are not only committed to ongoing education but are leaders in their field in practice, knowledge and presentation. VMPF offers speakers an honorarium as well as reimbursement of travel expenses and accommodation (if required).
